There is a tale that thirteen fastival in twelve months for Bangalies.In the late afternoon, as soon as the sun pours red vermilion, the music of the festival resounds.The sound of the familiar dhak resounded in the corner of the mind from the field-filled catkin flowers of autumn.
The biggest fastival of Hinduism is Durga Puja,also called Navaratri.In autumn full of catkin around the fields foretells Durga is coming. 
In a month of age there is a commotion in kumar tuli ( where the statue of God is made ) .Puja mondop(place of idol set up) starts to construct a month ago.the markets are full of various clothing.people are seen to shop from small stall to shopping Malls . According to Hinduism Durga comes to earth with her four children named Saraswati,Laxmi,Ganesh,Kartik from kailash Dham .She is come at every puja mandap before Panchami .The puja starts from the 5th day called Panchami and continues for 4 days more in Sashthi, Saptami,Asthami and Nabami. Asthomi is a very important day for all of them ,they all take Anjali and to take Anjali they make fasting still the puja complete. Dhunachi is used during Arati.
Most of the people chose evening to go for a walk and visit many puja mandaps . At the outside of mandap there are lots of stall like sweets,panipuri, icecrim, stasnary,toy also many more stores. At every house a lots of dishes are prepared and share with neighbours and relatives. After 5 days the time comes to go back of Durga to Kailash Dham . The very next day is call Bijaya Dasami. All togather they floated Durga in pond ,lake or river.
